  • “Preferred Supplier List”, especially when brimmed with under performing, low quality recruiters, whose processes are part of the reason our industry doesn’t always have the greatest reputation.

A day in your life? Typical day:

  • My day usually starts on LinkedIn, I like to keep up to data with any changes in my market and to see what my connections are up to. I try my best to plan out my day, but this can vary day to day with no two days being the same. My time can be divided between reaching out to clients who have RDBMS needs and trying to understand where we could help. The other half is spent connecting with candidates both new to the market and those who are passive, keeping them up to date with any changes in the market. My role as a 360 recruiter can sometimes feel like I’m a detective- putting the pieces together!

A movie title for the story of your life?

  • Stuart Little (I’m not the tallest)

Nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

  • I like to look at restaurant menus and sign up for discount codes. It does make me a great person to eat out with because I’ll most likely have a discount.

What do your family think you do all day?

  • I don’t think my mum has a clue what a recruiter does. But my friends think I play table tennis all day.

First act if you became Prime Minister?

  • Don’t get me started, I could go for days…but the first thing I would do is let Tyler the Creator come back to the UK.

Who has been your mentor in business?

  • I’ve tried to be a sponge and absorb as much as I can from the whole office, but I’d say my fellow Data Squad members. This is probably because they are all I hear all day, so I’m bound to pick up some tricks from them.
