We’re hiring an experienced Data Engineer to play a critical role at the heart of our data journey. This position blends business continuity with future-focused transformation — ensuring a seamless handover of existing data assets while helping accelerate the next phase of our data platform modernisation.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll sit at the intersection of data, technology, and the business — trusted to own, improve, and evolve how data is used.
Take ownership of structured handover and documentation, ensuring legacy and live data solutions are robust, understood, and future-proofed Design and deliver high-impact dashboards, forecasts, and analytical models that shape commercial decisions Work across multiple data sources, extracting insights using SQL, Power BI, and modern visualisation techniques Track and interpret KPIs across sales, marketing, product, and customer domains, surfacing trends, risks, and opportunities Automate and optimise reporting pipelines, improving speed, accuracy, and scalability Champion data quality, integrity, and security, embedding best practice across validation, testing, and governance Act as a mentor and technical sounding board for junior analysts, raising the bar across the analytics function
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who blends strong technical capability with clear communication and commercial awareness.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Power Automate Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, with a strong eye for usability and storytelling Confident working with SQL (MySQL) to query, model, and manipulate complex datasets The ability to translate data into insight — explaining the “so what” to non-technical audiences Exposure to VB Script is a bonus, not a blocker A solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance, and why it matters
