Chapman Tate is partnering with a leading Epicor ERP services organisation to hire an experienced Principle Consultant Team Lead to drive the delivery of high-quality Epicor solutions across a varied customer base.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine technical delivery, team leadership, and client-facing consulting. Epicor experience is essential, and strong expertise across Finance Modules is a must.

As a Principle Consultant Team Lead, you will lead and mentor a team of consultants while remaining actively involved in delivery. You’ll act as a trusted technical authority, guiding solution design, development, and implementation to ensure consistent quality and customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Epicor consultants, ensuring consistency and excellence in delivery
  • Remain hands-on across Epicor ERP technical delivery, including customisations, BPMs, integrations, and automations
  • Own solution design, technical estimation, delivery planning, and deployment
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple projects and act as an escalation point for complex challenges
  • Carry out reviews, coaching, and best-practice guidance across the team

Quality & Best Practice

  • Drive coding standards, release management, and deployment best practices
  • Ensure solutions are stable, secure, and aligned to QA standards
  • Stay up to date with Epicor releases and identify opportunities to enhance client environments

Client Engagement

  • Partner with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Support workshops, stakeholder sessions, project updates, and technical discussions
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and project managers to ensure delivery is on time and to scope

Continuous Improvement

  • Champion innovation, automation, and process improvement
  • Contribute to internal documentation and technical enablement
  • Support team development and help grow capability across the practice

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on Epicor ERP experience (minimum 5+ years)
  • Proven expertise in Epicor Finance Modules (must-have)
  • Strong experience in Epicor customisation, BPMs, REST APIs, and SQL development
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing a consulting or technical delivery team
  • Strong estimation skills and ability to manage delivery commitments
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management
  • Strong understanding of development best practices, version control, and release processes
  • Comfortable working across Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments

Nice to Have

  • Epicor certifications and/or project management qualifications
  • Experience within an Epicor partner environment
  • Cloud deployment exposure (including multi-tenant environments)
  • Power BI, SSRS reporting, or automation tool experience

What’s on Offer

  • £100,000 – £110,000 base salary
  • Bonus + Benefits package
  • Fully remote working
  • Occasional travel to customer sites
