SC Cleared Data Architect (Data Migration Programme)
- Location: UK-based (Hybrid with some travel to London)

We’re supporting a consultancy delivering a secure data migration programme and are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of a new target-state data architecture.
This role is well suited to someone who blends strong architectural capability with hands-on technical expertise and enjoys working closely with engineering teams in regulated environments. The programme focuses on migrating XML-based datasets into a modern cloud database architecture supporting a case management platform within AWS.
Key Responsibilities
Design target-state data architecture and logical/physical data models Define and oversee migration strategies and execution approaches Lead data mapping and ensure data integrity throughout migration Provide architectural governance while remaining delivery-focused Ensure data quality, structure, security and governance standards Collaborate closely with engineering, platform and business stakeholders
Essential Experience
- Active SC clearance
- Strong background in data architecture within secure or regulated environments
- Proven experience delivering data migration and data mapping initiatives
- Hands-on with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong AWS cloud experience
- Comfortable operating across architecture, design and technical delivery
Desirable
- Experience supporting or integrating with case management platforms (e.g. Appian)
