Infrastructure Engineer
UK Remote | Occasional Oxfordshire Travel | Full-Time
We’re partnering with a growing UK SaaS business seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of its core platform environments.
This is a hands-on role focused on infrastructure reliability, automation and security — not just internal support. You’ll work closely with senior technical leadership to ensure systems are scalable, resilient and production-ready.
Key Focus Areas
- Own and optimise core infrastructure environments
- Manage Windows Server and Linux platforms
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware)
- Kubernetes and containerised workloads
- Backup, restore and disaster recovery design
- Infrastructure automation (Ansible / IaC mindset)
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or IBM Cloud)
- Git/GitHub workflows
- Security-first operations in high-availability SaaS environments
- You’ll also provide occasional light-touch internal IT support where needed.
