IT Project Engineer – £35,000 to £50,000 – Eastleigh

The Role
As an IT Project Engineer, you will lead the delivery of technical projects for a wide range of clients. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, plan and implement solutions, and ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be trusted to drive technical change across customer environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end‑to‑end IT infrastructure and cloud projects for SME and mid‑market clients
- Deploy and configure Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and server technologies
- Migrate systems, applications, and data across platforms
- Produce project documentation, scopes of work, and technical designs
- Work collaboratively with the service desk and technical consultants
- Act as a technical escalation point when required
Technical Skills Desired
- Strong background in an MSP or multi‑customer environment
- Microsoft 365 administration and migration experience
- Azure AD, Intune, and cloud service deployment
- Windows Server, Hyper‑V/VMware
- Networking (Firewalls, VLANs, VPNs)
- Backup, DR, and security solutions
